Organic Synthesis at Lawrence University
We are a research group at a liberal arts institution that focuses on the development of new organic transformations. We explore metal-mediated reactions through a "reactivity-centered approach" with the aim of building molecular complexity that can be used for industrial synthesis of complex pharmaceuticals. The lab is built around mentoring undergraduate students and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can be successful.

June 2024 - Navraj Singh and Miles McCue have joined the lab for the summer as part of the Lawrence Undergraduate Research Fellowship (LURF) Program.

April 2023 - BIG NEWS!!! The Gesinski Lab is moving!!! After ten years at Southwestern University, Dr. G. has accepted a job at Lawrence University of Wisconsin. I am excited to continue our work with undergraduates at a new institution with new opportunities.
